 My client a fully integrated Marketing & Communications Agency with +20 years experience is currently looking for an Account Manager (Events) to join their team in Riyadh. Reporting to COO, you would develop strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. Below more details:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and all other parties involved in assigned events
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Understand client objectives and develop creative proposals that meet or exceed expectations
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
  • Manage event budgets and track all expenses to ensure accuracy and adherence to budget constraints
  • Create detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure all deadlines are met and all logistical details are accounted for
  • Oversee on-site event management and execution, ensuring all elements are carried out according to plan
  • Handle post-event follow-up, including thank-yous, surveys, and debriefs with clients and staff
  • Train and supervise junior event staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 8+ years’ experience in event management, with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong budget development and oversight skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
