My client is a Saudi Consulting Company specialized in unifying the private sector’s voice, organizing its efforts, and building its Advocacy capabilities to engage it with the public sector professionally. They are currently looking for a Advocacy Manager to join their team in Riyadh. Reporting to Advocacy Director, you will lead advocacy outreach and influence public policy. Below more details:

  1. Advocacy & Policy Making:
  • Analyse and track national policy and frameworks updates.
  • Contribute to policy and advocacy communications through quarterly reports.
  • Report related key performance indicators and success metrics monthly.
  • Assist in developing strategic plans and lead implementation for assigned objectives; and ensure cohesion of strategic plans and approaches across the team.
  • Assist the Advocacy director in developing and maintaining effective relationships with government officials.
  • Develop and maintain robust advocacy team approaches to promote the Public policy projects.
  • Lead communication activities and manage projects with the assigned ministries.
  1. Advocacy Outreach & influencing with Public Sector:
  • Support relationships with policymakers.
  • Represent the company at events as needed
  • Develop and utilize advocacy channels to achieve relevant advocacy objectives.
  • Initiate and maintain strategic relations with the assigned ministries, and other relevant departments, as necessary.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with assigned ministries’ staff to ensure effective collaboration and implementation of company’s strategy and build public support for the quarterly strategy goals.
  • Develop and maintain clear lines of communication with advocates and key stakeholders with the assigned ministries and use this to inform our work.
  1. Keeping Standards:
  • Acknowledging and comply with company’s policies and work ethics and clients’ relation management.
  • Maintaining records accordingly.
  • Working across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals.
  1. Departmental Interface:
  • Developing reports to director and higher management.
  • Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area.
  • Participating in  the  development  of  the  departmental  quarterly strategy.
  • Working with  higher  management  and  other  peers  for  strategy development and execution planning.
  • Conforming to the financial budgeting policies for their projects.
  • Communicating key performance indicators to direct reports.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, International Public Relations and Economics or any related fields. Certified Change Management Professional preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience
  • Bilingual in Arabic and English.
  • Excellent written and verbal Arabic.
  • High level of professionalism.
