My client a leading Food company active in KSA since 40 years and specializing in retail sales of nuts, coffee, grams, spices, dried fruit and dried vegetables. They are currently looking for a Director of HR to join their team in Riyadh. The role reports to CEO and is will be the top HR role in the company. You will be responsible for the people agenda of the company both for HR strategy and HR operations. Below more details:

Contribute to and Execute HR Strategy:

  • Contribute to the execution of the business plan through the creation (where appropriate) and implementation of the People Strategies that attract, develop and retain employees.
  • Support the organizational short and long term business needs to drive competitive advantage and address opportunities and threats.
  • Coordinate and execute workforce planning. Provide timely recommendations to business head on people agenda.

Recruitment

  • Recruit key positions and specialists positions through agencies and his/her talent acquisition team
  • Maintain and improve Saudization levels.

Organizational Design and Learning & Development

  • Pro-actively challenge the established organizational structure for efficient Organizational Design
  • Define HR  policies and procedures
  • Ensure people issues are a key consideration when discussing and planning business activities.
  • Manage effective organizational transformation and change projects using best practice methodologies.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate Learning & development plan
  • Work with leaders to enhance current and future functional and leadership capability needs.

Performance and Talent Management:

  • Develop the People Plan and Talent Management agenda
  • Support the Line Mgr. in delivery of key HR processes, such as succession planning or performance review.
  • Participate and provide insights to top level interviews

Employee Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships with managers, employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication and co operation.
  • Give input to difficult individual employee situations, legal cases, employee relations issues.
  • Lead the promotion of an inclusive culture that is safe, productive, empowering and equitable:
  • Coach others to behave and make decisions in line with AMG values
  • Responsible for compliance in HR (policies and practices).

 Requirements:

  • Must be Saudi.
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experienced in Talent Management.
  • Strong leadership
  • Ability to deal with the government
