My client a Saudi Cloud Accounting Software company with +100 employees currently looking for a Product Owner to join their team in Riyadh. Reporting to Senior Product Manager, you will develop detailed product feature specifications, PRDs, story maps and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development team. below more details:
- Collaborate with users and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and perform necessary business analysis
- Work closely with product management/business teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and objectives
- Defining product backlog/release roadmap, and align them to strategic goals
- Keep up with Agile/Scrum best practices and trends
- Facilitate business understanding to Scrum teams
- Develop detailed product feature specifications, PRDs, story maps and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development team
- Plan, groom, size, and prioritize product feature backlog
- Develop and prioritize user stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
- Set sprint goals, define acceptance criteria, and perform sprint reviews
- Lead the product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
- Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
- Make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
- Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
- Keep track of industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experienced in technology product development
- Knowledge of software development and web technologies
- Work experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in product management is a big asset
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Experience managing all stages of the product development life cycle is a plus
- Hands-on experience working with backlog management tools (JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps, etc…)
- Understanding of business value around feature/functions
- Knows how to manage the product backlog and align it with the overall product roadmap.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to details, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
