Sales Manager Projects


 My client a Saudi group with diverse activities is currently looking for a Sales Manager (Projects) for their home furniture and décoration company based in Riyadh. Reporting to Group Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10 Sales Executives. Below more details:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the project department in alignment with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
    • Identify target markets, industries, and potential clients for project sales.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  1. Sales Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Provide coaching and guidance to the sales team to enhance their performance and productivity.
    • Set sales targets, monitor progress, and provide regular performance evaluations and feedback.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in order to drive sales and secure new projects.
    • Understand client requirements and provide appropriate solutions, proposals, and quotations.
    • Conduct presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions with clients to ensure successful project acquisition.
  1. Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with internal departments, such as engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  1. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, budgets, and market analysis.
    • Monitor sales activities, track performance against targets, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team based on sales data and analysis.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role, preferably in the project or construction industry.
  • Preferred 7-10 years of experience.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a sales team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting tools, and MS Office suite.
