My client a family-run group in luxury fashion is currently looking for a WMS Application Support to join their team in Jeddah. Reporting to Head of Technology you would be responsible for helping build, innovate features and maintain our WMS platform. Below more details:
- Engineer to help us enhance and maintain our Infor WMS platform.
- Help improve the warehouse team performance and will work closely with our product team to build the best possible solution and satisfy Business, Logistics and Supply Chain needs.
- Will require deep knowledge of WMS systems (Infor being a plus) and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), RESTful APIs design and infrastructure (Linux, NGINX, Apache, Varnish will be desirable).
- Highly desirable has a background in Luxury Retail and Distribution.
- Build and lead the WMS team.
- Deploy Beta versions for testing and work closely with QAs, make QA Deploy final versions to production.
- Guide developers and help them with details required for program creation and guide on writing good quality code.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel and client.
- Testing, debugging, implementing and documenting complex integration services as part of AMG Service Factory through knowhow of programming skills and experience troubleshooting WMS systems (Infor highly desirable), including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools.
- Work with functional and business customers to determine solutions that drive additional business value, finding the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems and address the current needs of AMG.
- Ensures programs meet and perform to standards and technical integration specifications.
- Provides technical advice on WMS Integrations, providing guidance and implementation support to both the technical and application teams on systems interfacing with integration platform.
Requirements:
- University Degree or Diploma
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar WMS role
- Must have a background as a developer.
- Experience with design, development and deployment of SOA based architecture for a large organization leveraging multiple COTS Business applications is preferred.
- Experience working with middleware team for WMS integration using XML, JMS, JSON, WS-*, SOA/Integration, and API Management
- Designed WMS interface using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts including REST-full and SOAP-based services.
- Designed enterprise services using RAML and REST based APIs.
- Experience in CI/CD platforms
- Experience in Logging/Alerting/Monitoring frameworks. Experience in Cloud platforms – AWS.
- Experienced in both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in Functional Architecture Design and Architecture Knowledge.
- Software Engineering Leadership Technical Solution Design Change Management.
- Progressing knowledge in Business Analysis.
- Experience working as an Integration Solution Architect and preferably with WMS Infor.
- Experience with large Full Life Cycle (FLC) project implementations, with hands on delivery.
- Experience with all aspects of the system implementation process of system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and support.
